Spotted Cameras save footage locally to the SD card inside the camera. When heat-based motion is detected, the camera wakes, records the event, and sends an alert to your phone.
Recordings are saved directly onto the SD card inside the camera, so you can review clips without paying for ongoing cloud storage.
The PIR sensor looks for a change in heat across the area. When something warm moves through the detection zone, the camera is triggered.
Instead of running constantly, the camera stays in a low-power state and wakes when motion is detected. This helps the internal batteries last longer.
You can still open the camera for a live view at any time, and when the camera wakes for motion, an alert is sent straight to your phone.
